Estonian Folk Art and Craft Union

International cooperation

The Estonian Folk Art and Craft Union is a member of
European Folk Art and Craft Federation since 1994 and
Nordic Folk Art and Craft Association
since 1995

The European Federation was established in 1972. Today it is a network consisting of twelve different countries or regions: Austria, Norway, Estonia, Slovakia, Finland, Spain, Hungary, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland, Sardinia and Denmark. All the members are nonprofit organizations.
The network aims to strengthen contacts, exchange skills and knowledge about traditional craftsand between craftsmen and organizers of craft activity in European countries.
From 2006 to 2009 the President of the European Federation was Liivi Soova from Estonian Folk Art and Craft Union Union.

Nordic Folk Art and Craft Association unites the craft unions from European Nordic Countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Norway,  Sweden.
From June 2010 till june 2013 the presiding member will be Estonian Folk Art and Craft Union.
